The national capital, Delhi experienced the coldest day in five years on December 29 when the minimum temperature plummeted to 2.6 degree Celsius.

As people took shelter in homes, the needy and poor continued to shiver in the biting cold weather. Though, shelter camps have been set up in various places; they aren’t enough to meet the needs of all.
While Kashmir is reeling under sub-zero temperatures, warmth is being spread by donating winter clothing to the needy and poor people. A group of city youth volunteering with ‘Who is Hussain,’ a global organisation working in support of humanity, had set up ‘Wall of Kindness’ behind a dilapidated multi-storied hotel, on the banks of River Jhelum in the city centre Lal Chowk.
